kids say the darnedest things...

mack is full of the funniest sayings lately.  he's obsessed with letters, their sounds, "drawing" them, and singing them.  but, he's full of lots of other sayings as well.  here are a few of my favorites:

walking through nordstrom one day, mack stopped every few articles of clothing and said, "oh! das cute."  since then, he regularly points out "cute" things to me.  some of them, like the purple leopard spotted leather jacket, aren't so cute.  :)

mack's first joke: playing behind the t.v., mack remarked to the deej that he was stuck.  daddy said, "stuck like a duck?"  to which mack replied, "stuck wike duck. quack, quack."

daddy and mack playing on the floor.  daddy was launching mack into the air, which he seemed to like.  dj asked him if he wanted to do it again.  he said, "nokay."  uh... I guess that means yes?  so dj launched him.  immediately afterwards, mack looked at him, very distraught and said, "nokay! why do it?"

one day, following a particularly traumatic time-out, and the appropriate amends made, while walking away from the time-out area, mack muttered under his breath, "naugh-ee mama."  what a stinker. 

but, by far my favorite saying is this one (please ignore my annoying voice in the background):
