thankfully thanksgiving

posting about thanksgiving at new years does seem a little inappropriate, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.  plus, it's high time I get these wedding pictures posted.  here's what our thanksgiving consisted of:

November 24th

flying with a child who had no desire to be flown with.  note to self: one-year-olds prefer land.

November 25th

shooting my first full wedding.  it was scary, educational, exhilarating, and so much fun.  I can't wait to do it again.  the rest of their pictures can be found here.

November 26th

thanksgiving dinner outside by the pool in seventy degree weather.  looking at the snow and ice outside my window right now reminds me how heavenly that was.

seconds of yummy, yummy food

lots of partying and laughter...

...oh-so-stylish relatives...

...and beautiful sunsets.

November 27th
(remeber this? 11/27 is the day mack took his first steps)

took some family pictures for some more of those stylish relatives.  to see more click here.

November 28th

discovered that rocks are one of mack's favorite things.

November 29th

hiked camel back.  I hadn't prepared myself to scale the side of a mountain, but it was a fun hike regardless.  my knee felt the effects for several days afterward, but it was completely worth it.

November 30th

more family pictures for more relatives.  one of the most colorful shoots I've ever done, and since I love color, it's also probably one of my favorites.  to see more, click here.

December 1st

and, a few quick shots of another cousin.  I told you our thanksgiving was full of stylish relatives.  lots and lots of them.  :)

well, all of the photos for my picture a day project have been shot, and I'm now in editing mode for all of my december photos.  I have lots of resolutions, but I won't bore you with all of them just yet.  for now, here's a message from your friendly neighborhood mackers:

I like to imagine it's secret code for how much he loves his mother.  don't you think that's what he's trying to say?

Happy Birthday two days ago! I tend to stay away from computers on the weekends and reserve all that energy for work... So--congratulations also on completing 365 photo project shooting! Now get it posted, you're so close :)

I love the pictures- I really get blown away everytime I see your pictures- they get more unbelievable creative and good every post. I remember just a couple short years ago, when you had a new camera and were wanting to learn more about photography- I'd say you totally rock the camera now!

and happy belated birthday, too!

first of all, arrgh! I missed wishing you a happy birthday! You have to change that day after new years birth date, for my sake ;) so I can be a better well wisher. Congrats on another year and almost being done with your challenge! Hang in there! and congrats on a successful wedding shoot! the pictures are beautiful and romantic.
