officially official.

announcing the newly hooded Dr. Jones...

we're excited.  :)
words don't come close to describing how proud I am of DJ.  saturday was full of lots of tears, lots of smiles, and lots of happiness.  here are a few of the moments:

and a few of the people:

and, of course, mack and madi up to their usual antics:

thanks to our parents for making the long trip out and celebrating with us.  the day wouldn't have been complete or (let's be honest) even possible without you.

it all seems completely surreal.  I can't believe we're done, and we're leaving so soon.  I said goodbye to the first couple to leave last night, and I still don't really believe they're gone.  what can I say about the last four years to adequately express my feelings?  it was life changing, personally challenging, character building, and the most amazing four years of my life thus far.  I have fallen in love with pittsburgh, made life long friends, started my own family, and most of all, grown even closer to DJ who has been my rock through it all. I'll miss this place like crazy.  but as my mom says, you have to look forward, not back, so...

here's to the next chapter.  :)

Congrats! What a special event! I just read someone's blog who's first child graduated from preschool, and then I read your post...If you think about it, it's such a privilege to "live" these kind of milestone moments through people's blogs!! So excited for you guys! Y'all are a power couple and are going to do big things!

Congrates Libby, what an amazing accomplishment! I am happy for you guys that you are moving to the next exciting stage, but you really did sum it up perfectly about learning so much here and what you will be sad to leave behind. CONGRATULATIONS again!!!!

Congrats Dr. Deej! I really hope you come down soon so you can tell me if I have a cavity (i'm pretty sure the answer is yes). By the way, who's that red-head hottie with you at graduation? Talk about va-va-voom! Come see us soon and we'll return the favor before you leave the East. :(

Oh, it all feels amazing--even from hundreds of miles away in Utah. I'm so happy for you two and proud of the people you are and the amazing things you're onto doing next. Especially with such sweet hair-dos in the fam. I love DJs curls over his cap and of course, I love red. Always have, always will.

And Mack, do you have to look so darn old? Can't wait to see him out here, even if you guys aren't accompanying him.

Oh, this is such a bittersweet time, but your mom is right- look forward. So many changes are coming (or probably have come, since I am so late in writing this comment). I can't wait to get the next update on where you are, how your move went, and all the good details!

Congratulations to you guys!
