i like you.

April 2nd

Daddy and Mack. I was trying for a little sun flare, and got a whole lot, but I think it makes them look heavenly... awww.

April 3rd

I imagine this is what Mack will look like in eighty years. Only hopefully his diaper won't be hanging out.

There's the sun flare I was searching for. Part of a photo outing with a couple friends. This place was insane. It's some kind of abandoned furnace in the middle of a huge field. It took us about thirty minutes to trek in, and yes, it was FREEZING, and yes, I absolutely wore the wrong shoes (true to form), and YES, it was totally worth it. Lafe, I want to take you there. I think you'd love it.

My cute little man.

Remember this little guy?

Well, he invited a few friends and they decided to stay--that is, until the snowstorm we had yesterday. Thank you Pittsburgh.

Amazing what just one week can do.

April 7th

This photo is dedicated to my dear brother Stevie. He has an obsession with fire hydrants (in the same way I have an obsession with graffiti), and LOVES dogs, especially Reggie. For you, brother.

Classic Mack. Lower lip in, cute little double chin, and oh-so-adorable. Can you believe how blond his hair is getting? Just remember, this...

...is what he looked like when he was born. Crazy, eh?

And, finally, you must know, I have the best husband ever. He surprised me this week with a new lens... THE new lens... the lens I have been coveting for months. Strangely, I feel more legitimate. Don't laugh. So, to DJ: you're the best. You wanna get married or something? And to the rest of you, thanks for stopping by. I like you too. Lots. :)

I've been looking at your photos and I think you are really good. It surprises me that photography is a new hobby for you. I wish I knew how to do it (although I am PRETTY GOOD with my phone camera:)).

You found that furnace place! I was totally expecting a call becuase it is in a weird place and hard to get to. We drove in, and I hope that I misunderstood and that you didn't walk that mile through the field to get there! It is so cool though! I loved it too!

Just because one wears a robe, doesn't mean he is old. When your kids get older, you need to cover up!

Carlee told me to check out your blog for ideas on poses for baby pictures. These are awesome. Adam's going to "attempt" to take the picts, but I don't think they'll be nearly as good as these. You look like you've found cool places :)

I definitely have lens envy. I told Zach I wanted a new lens, but then we realized we had no money, as in overdrew our bank accounts no money. SO it'll have to wait. I love his diaper hanging out his robe! Classy!
