change I can believe in...

Life in and around the Jones household is full of changes lately.

Exhibit A: Mack

Day 1

Day 16

A little less... Asian, don't you think?

Exhibit B: Pennsylvania

Beautiful fall leaves
(excuse the shady pictures taken from a moving car)

Bare Winter Trees

I can be happy about this, I can. I just have to keep telling myself that winter=Christmas.

Exhibit C: Me

Working Wife

Stay at home mom

Oh, and by the way, the design on my jacket--no, that's not a Jackson Pollock... that would be the work of my 17 day old son. Lovely.

Exhibit D: Us

From this...

To this...

I have to admit, I cried a little during Barack's acceptance speech. What an amazing country we live in where only 40 years ago we were in the throws of civil rights upheaval, and now we have elected an african american to lead us all. I am timidly excited to see where this change will take us...

All of these changes have me feeling optimistic about life. There's so much to be grateful for, and so much to look forward to.

Please say that was spit up and not the other end! YUCK either way! All good changes! I am glad you are optimistic. I have been sick with a cold but I want to come by again when we are all 100%

That day 16 picture is adorable. He is growing up so fast already.
Your used to those kind of accidents by now, aren't you? At least it didn't get you in the face this time.
Libby, where is the tour of the nursery video?
I have promises to keep...

Amazing how poop can leave you feeling optimistic! Life sure does change with a little one around--all for the better, even if it is messier. We can't to see you and meet this beautiful little boy. What great pictures--I need tips, and probably a new camera!
