Here are a few little factoids about Mack right now:- He LOVES his binky. It may be a problem in the future, but for now, it makes mom and baby very happy.
- He started smiling about a week ago, and I finally caught a little smile on camera.
- Just call him Grunty-McGrunterson. Honestly, he is super noisy. All the noises are very cute to his mom, but others may not think so. :)
- He sleeps about 6-8 hours a night. Did I already say he is heaven sent?
- He hasn't lost a single strand of his newborn hair. In fact, it has only gotten longer. What am I supposed to do with all that hair!?
- He makes the cutest face right as he is waking up. I don't have a picture (I'll get one yet), but I never want to forget it.
- He loves the "daddy special." When DJ watches him, he swaddles him and puts him in the bouncy chair with the vibration on, and drapes a blanket over the top. Works like a charm every time.
Alright, that's enough of my bragging (righteous pride, right?). Yesterday, a friend let me take a few pictures of her cute family. The weather was freezing and doing the Pittsburgh mist the whole time, but we were able to capture a few good ones.

I am so glad he is such a good baby, and so glad that you are loving being a mother. It really is the best, there really is nothing else like the love of a mom for her baby, and you just keep loving them more and more!

Amy, a new hobby is definitely in the works. Just something to occupy my creative side. :) And, no bouncy chair will be making the flight. I just can't justify the space it take up. Too bad.

Yes, capture all those cute facial expressions while you can, because sometimes they stop doing them :( But so fun to remember. He is a cutie, glad he's sleeping so well for you!

I can't believe Mack is only 6 weeks old! You haven't let having an itty bitty baby slow you down at all - I really admire that! The nelson family pics look really great, good job! I esp love the color.
